AMERIQUEST - AMC Mortgage Services ripoff We SOLD OUR HOUSE AMC WON'T CANCEL FORECLOSURE SALE TO ALLOW SETTLEMENT IN 3 WEEKS! Orange California

Another Ameriquest Victim joins the list! I took my loan out with the 'Proud Sponsor of DESTROYING the American Dream' in March 2003. My loan papers are now with an attorney in Florida. They tried to foreclose 4 times. Twice we stopped them with bankruptcies, 1 time they waived it and now we are facing a foreclosure sale tomorrow, March 23 at 1:59 PM EST at the Harford County Courthouse in Bel Air, MD. WE SOLD OUR HOUSE LAST SUNDAY with a No Contingency, Signed, Ratified Contract with a settlement date of April 12. AMC would be getting ALL of their money at that time, but for the last two days they have done nothing but either not answer my calls, send me to someone else and always coming back with the same answer 'we won't postpone the sale' 'you have to understand our position' (which I don't) 'Maryland doesn't have a postponement law' 'its been going on for too long' 'we foreclosed 5 times' (which they haven't - they claim they did in September 04 however they didn't as they did not have the Deed of Trust filed - in fact they didn't file the DOT for 2 years in May 05. Because they didn't have a filed DOT they couldn't foreclose. They claim they waived three more times, which they didn't. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court Stayed their foreclosure therefore they didn't waive anything on their part and now they won't work with us. They would rather put us out on the street with no where to go and believe me we have nowhere to go and what money we would have has been spent having to payoff the cars (which my former now suspended from practicing law during my bankruptcy bankruptcy lawyer screwed up - and no other attorney would take my case) and we have nothing to go anywhere with. My son, fiancee who built this home 29 years ago with his bare hands, myself and our diabetic dachsund will be out on the street literally. AMC/Ameriquest touts themselves as being the 'proud sponsor of the American Dream' - yeah right - more like 'proud sponsor of destroying and taking away the American Dream'. I was told if my name was on a list for a Class Action Lawsuit AMC couldn't do anything. My name is on a list with a lawyer in Florida for an upcoming lawsuit, but they don't know anything about the above list stopping the foreclosure. When a company like this is in so much trouble and has so many lawsuits going against, there should be a law that states that they can't foreclose on ANY property until the court cases and investigations against them have been settled! They should be known as 'AMC Proud Ripoff Con Artists!'
