This is exactly what happened to me also, I quote Lawrence:
"My case is an exact repetipon of what happened to Dave Howell from Huntibgdon when I downloaded an AVG antivirus fron Advance Telecom but what realy angered me that altough Pay Pal knew about this apparently fake compony yet they still forwared the money.
