On April 4, 2013 I was called by a David Mirrer who sounded Caribbean and told that I had won 2 million dollars. At first I thought I heard him say Publishing Housing or something which I associated with the real sweepstakes people Publishers Clearing House. that was the only reason I continued to listen.

He then told me I would have to meet with the company attorney Mary Jones and the company lawyer Williams Morris who would present me with the check (#0003335810598). These people would meet me at my residence between 3pm-5pm that same day.

He then said I had two options: A. accept my prize privately or B. publically with TV and radio and all that. This is when i asked what address they have associated with my number. he didn't understand so I repeated the question and heard someone in the background. Then he said I had to give them my address. I asked if he wanted my address first or my option choice. He didn't understand so I repeated my question. More background talking and then he asked for the address so I told him and he never asked for my option afterwards.

He then told me to locate the nearest Walgreens or Walmart because I had to pay for a claiming card. He first said the amount was $300 some but I couldn't hear because it sounded like he was pressing buttons. So i asked him to repeat and he said it was $504 with more beeping so I couldn't hear. I asked if he said $504 and he said yes, I would have to go to Walgreens customer service and ask for a green dot scratch card.

He then told me he would hang up and I was to immediately call the number 1-876-581-9850 extension 5 to tell them what time that day I would claim my prize. I asked for the company name: American Cash Award Company located in Las Vegas Nevada but with 14 branches in my city (even though he couldn't even spell it). He hung up and I went here to look up company legitimacy. As i thought it's a scam.

I was just gonna ignore it all and continue my day but I got a call back from David asking if I called the number. I asked for the company once more to make sure I heard right and I was correct. then I lied and said yes but the line must have been busy and that it was alright I didn't need it. he then screamed nooo angrily with his partner in the background and hung up. This all from an unknown number. Stupid Idiots.
