Americredit Financial Serives has totally disappointed a customer. I am between jobs but managed to get my car note in before the 30 days has past to maintain my credit in good standing. I was down to the wire of getting one payment in with Americredit and it was on the 30th day. I was able to raise most of the money so I wired what I had with plans to contact Americredit the next day. I talked with customer service and he was no help. I talked with a supervisor and he was rude and just repeated what the customer service person had said which was they could not help me. I know if my other creditors could work with me on one payment that Americredit should be able to do something to keep my credit in good standing. I became frustrated with the supervisor and wanted to talk with someone over him. I realize that I need to search the net and see whats really going on with this company. I found Rip-Report and now I know. If there is a law suit out there I am on board. I plan to seek action myself to get the bad mark off my credit. I cant believe creditors dont understand the way the economy is now people losing jobs and Americredit cant find a way to help out. If we all turn in our cars and boycott the company I bet they would make a way then.

where is the ripoff?

I am sorry to say but there is no rip off here...

Americredit is doing what they LEGALLY have to do. If the FULL payment amount hasn't post by the 29th day of its delquency, then they LEGALLY have to report you to the credit bureau. You think such a nationally wide spread company would risk their position just to "help you out" by doin something that is illegal like not reporting you to the BBB just because you couldnt get the payment together?

There is nothing to argue about here. it will be funny when you try to take this to an attorney and they just laugh in your face for being naive.

Plan ahead. You can't possibly think when you get a job that you will never quit or get fired or laid off. I understand that we don't like to think about getting fired or laid off, but sh** happens. Prepare for it. When you get a job, think to yourself, "hmmm...I should start saving just in case the company closes down or something outside my control happens."
It's just like deaths in the family. You still need to prepare, grieve and move on.
