"Houngan" Matt is a bogus houngan , who had a bogus ceremony. They made an a*s out of the white man who wanted to be Haitian. Now he thinks he is a voodoo priest. Well , he does not even know what color corresponds with what lwa. He has opened a "shop" online. He is all over the internet trying to sell these hideous bottles.
He has one for Papa Simbi / Danto. Papa Simbi''s color is Green and white, those who serve him wear light blue. This bottle was neither. This bottle is also not for Ezili Danto, her color is SILVER and navy blue. Not Gold. What a joke! He claims to be a high priest , well this is elementary my dear ;)
Do not buy this JUNK! It is not authentic voodoo items. It looks like trash. He refuses to give refunds.

The colors (and, to an extent, the iconography of saints) that correspond to the lwa vary by house and lineage and should not be taken as "proof" of anyone's illegitimacy as a practitioner. For example, in my house, we use green and red for Danto - I have never seen anyone use silver and blue for her, ever, but if I did see that then I would just assume it was a difference in house preferences and move on.
I am not affiliated with Houngan Matt, his house or his business. I am an initiate of the Haitian tradition, however, and it's obvious that this complaint was written by someone who just wanted to injure Houngan Matt's reputation using poorly-constructed accusations that any practicing Vodouisaint can see right through. Elementary indeed. ;)
