I heard a radio commercial for "FREE" book and CD. I went to the website given which sent me directly to a page that promised a free book & CD. I ONLY had to pay for shipping and handling ($3.95). It mentioned that Berman was quite confident that I would buy his other CD's and that's why he was offering this limited free deal. (I understand his complete confidence now!!)

Never once in the transaction was there any information about receiving additional CD's, along with the free book and CD, that I would be charged for in 30 days if I didn't return them. It made me think that I would be so enamored with the advice he has to offer on the free material that I would come back to order additional material.

I received the book and several CD's in the mail. I didn't examine the internal paperwork because I was way too busy and I assumed it was the normal shipping purchase order you get inside of every shipment. Evidently that paperwork held the clue to my soon to be rip-off.

I thought the entire package was the "FREE" offer (a "$100 value" according to the offer!). Today I notice a transaction on my bank account for $99.90 - so much for FREE! In doing a search for information I found this site (Rip-off.com) and found out I'd been scammed and so were other people.

I also found a page on Bermans website that explains the 30 day return policy that I was clueless to. Of course I wasn't directed to that page originally because I wouldn't have taken the bait and neither would most people!

Colorado used to have a law that a consumer did not have to pay for unsolicited merchandise received. I don't know if that is still true.

Berman is very confident that you WILL BUY more of his material but not because he is such a profound teacher in business matters (the first CD is complete with "duh" advice!) but because he is a very sly con artist!!
