I had a terrible experience with this business. Do Not Use Them for any of your work. They promise you the world and fall short of their every claim.

Booknook.biz Is An Excellent Formatting Service

I'm a bestselling author with 12 books on the market, and Hitch at Booknook.biz formatted them for me. She is highly skilled and very professional, and I wouldn't trust my novels to anyone else. I hear from readers all the time, and no one has every complained about the formatting. Hitch is easy to work, goes the extra mile, and charges reasonable rates.
Whoever filed this complaint must have a personal vendetta, because it's certainly not about her work ethic or product quality. I suspect it's a competitor trying to harm her business. I would love to see it taken down.
I know dozens of other authors, many of them bestsellers, who have used Booknook.biz for their formatting, and they are totally happy with her. If you need ebook formatting, I can't recommend Hitch at Booknook enough. Please disrequard this bogus rip-off report. It maligns a highly professional and highly recommended business. I would have liked to use my name, but the person who filed the vicious and untruthful report seems unstable enough to come after me next.

No Customer By This Name, now or ever

We do not now, nor have we ever had a client by the name of "D.Conner," or, for that matter, any person with the last name of "Conner." If Mr./Ms. Conner wishes to defame our company, s/he can step out of the shadows and reveal his/her true name, and the name of the book that, purportedly, we produced for which s/he had such a "horrible" time. In over 5 years of business, and 2,000 books, we have not had any dissatisfied customers. You'll note that this completely anonymous, no-details-provided, no-bookname-provided "report" has no backup, whatsoever--you can search for us everywhere, and find NO unhappy customers. Nor does it state what "horrible" things occurred. There is, in fact, ZERO detail. Which is very odd, as most people get on here and tell their entire story, from beginning to end--for REAL consumers who've had a bad time.
For the record, we have produced books for international best-selling authors, (simply visit our website to see), Pulitzer Winners and Oprah Book Club authors, as well as self-published authors. We have testimonials from Jackie Collins, as well as other top-selling authors.
Moreover, we are not "publishers." We are an established, respected eBook production company, on the Amazon Professional Converter's List and an Inscribe Digital Preferred Conversion Partner. This "RipOff Report" is specious and spurious, and is clearly some competitor's attempt to defame us. We are not a "vanity press," we don't charge our clients "huge fees," and we don't "promise the moon," either. All of this is utter nonsense. We simply make ebooks for publishers, imprints, and self-publishing authors. That's it.
The only "dissatisfied people" we've had are people who erroneously call our company to yell at us because "Dr. Phil" produced his last book as an ebook, and is selling it at a bookstore that has a similar name (TheBookNook.com, which has nothing to do with us), and these people call the wrong company. And even when they do, and even when they erroneously yell at me about it, I direct them politely to the correct company.
So, Mr./Ms. Conner: if you want to try to ruin my business, I suggest you stand up here and state your TRUE name and your TRUE book title--if they even exist, which I doubt. Otherwise, all anyone can know is that your report is exactly as I've stated, simply an attempt by a competitor to defame and smear us. Given that's all it is, I'll give this "report" all the consideration it is due, which is NONE.
