611 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615  This truck repair scam place seems very shady; beware. It started off alright as truck man offered to stay late, so that my husband and I could look at a vehicle, a truck for that matter priced at about $10,000, which we spotted on the internet and called about. The truck looked like it was well priced, and the pictures on the website were great, plus with the print off voucher from the website for free gas up to $50.00 just to go and look! (Sounds good, right?) I should have known that something wasn???t quite right being when they returned our phone call the VP, who took over the account, left a message for Bill, nope no one named Bill here, but I thought what the heck, people mistake names all the time.

When we arrived at the car dealership a guy came out to speak with us and show us the truck, the outside of the truck looked really good for a 2001 vehicle, but the inside was dirty as if someone drove it up and down a dirt road for years, and smelled of cigarette smoke; it also had many cigarette burns on the interior as well, and a hole worn through the driver side carpeting. The dealership didn???t even clean out the truck. The we noticed little thing that needed to be fix like the part of the driver side door panel where the window controls are was busted off, and kept falling off during the test drive, the glove compartment fell open while rounding a curve, the mirror on the passenger side was pointed at the ground and would not stay in position when moved by hand because the mechanical adjustment didn???t work. There was a spring pushing out of the back of the passenger side seat as well. After the test drive we were not happy with the condition of the truck and asked to see other trucks on the lot, same story many of the trucks were dirty, old license plates hang crook

I have to say I have never heard of or had any kind of business dealings with the complaintant. I have no idea who this person might be. We do heavy duty truck repair not a car dealership as stated in the complaint. We do not sell cars or trucks on the internet. The only trucks I sell are my own equipment, tow trucks, etc. Where was this truck advertised on the net, not mentioned. What kind of truck was it. If you were that disappointed with the truck you looked at & the dealership why would you ask to see other trucks. I am a hands on owner, so I know everything that is going on & this is a fraudulent complaint. I do not own a gas station, so there would not be any gas vouchers given away. who ever this person is I dare you to call me 203 377 2092 & ask for Jim so we can set the record straight
