I found driver solutions website looking for a job, like everyone else probably did.
I checked it out and was told I could get trained to be a truck driver in 3 weeks. so I put my information in on the web site, no time at all had a recruiter call me up and talk to me about what i would be doing. It sounded pretty good so I got signed up for it. I quit my job gave them 2 weeks notice and away I went to C1 professional truck driver training school in strafford missouri. but first i had to buy the e-gears online cdl class for only $9.95. before i could attend,o.k so I bought there product and passed all my classes on that test. I was good to go,C.D.L here I come. well i left tulsa oklahoma that sunday night to springfield mo. checked in to my hotel which was run down and scummy, had to share a room with some one i did not know. day one at C1 truck school we were crammed into this little lounge room where we had to sign a bunch of papers and do a drug test. and all sorts of crap that should have been done before you start a class.
day 2 pass cdl permit oops that e-gears course is for the state if indiana not missouri so
i missed alot on my cdl permit had to re-study missouri cdl booklet. time goes by the first week. I had no idea whats about to happen next. u.s.a truck the company i"m going to work for drops me for no reason what so ever. on my 4th day at school. i asked everybody in the office, called drivers solutions asked why? they said they did not no why. so they say we can get you on another company. thats good thats why i'm here i quit my job to get a new one remember. they stick me with werner better benefits more home time sounds good lets do it. 2nd week goes by trained 1 hour a day to drive a 10 speed double clutch truck. O.K. amazing i even learned anything cause they did'nt have enough trainers on the yard. 3rd week final week. i get ready to take my cdl test, so they said i was ready, i was thinking different. not trained well enough to pass all the courses on the road test but they said i was ready. all right then lets take that cdl road test. i get called into the office saying i have been droped by werner. and driver solutions tells me i have to leave the program that day. i was scheduled to take my driving test the very next day and was not allowed to do so .
so i asked if i have to leave the school am i still going to owe the 5999.95? they told me i would. stay the hell away from any C1 school or drivers solutions programs
I now have no job. no cdl. credit card company just called wanting payment just 5 minutes ago. dont have any money cause what money we budgeted out for gas and food is all gone i spent it going to and from school my own gas money from tulsa to springfield and food money for the family. so i would say stay away from C1 drivers solutions. far far away

I went to c-1 school in Fort Worth, I did not pay 9.95 for anything. I found them online because I wanted to be a truck driver. I did graduate, I passed the first time around. They did prepare me for the test and did everything to make sure we passed. I did not get to pick the trucking company I wanted however they did give us all the info on both companies. I was picked up by USA and they too where a good company. The only people that were dropped in my class were those with legal problems.

But they were offered to come back once they took care of the problem. I only ended up staying with USA for six months. My husband did not like me gone for so long. Yes I have to pay the 6000.00 back that's the contract signed. Do I like it? No but I'm an adult and I signed the papers with a full understanding of the conditions in the contract. Yes they called me within a week to set up a payment plan. I pay 200.00 a month and have already paid 2400.00 back in one year.

They did not tell me how much to pay. My only complain is that they said to call in three months to get interest rate lowered and I have not to this day reached them. I did not have a bad experience, I am not saying that the C-1 driving school was the best, but they can only tell and show you so much and it's up to you to have the drive to successed. I hope you will go back and get your monies worth, rather then pay and have nothing to show for it. Good luck and God bless you.
