Capital Vacations ripoff! Very demanding scam. Internet

I received a phone call last night from Capital Vacations. They started off by explaining I won 4 airline tickets that could be used with in one year. They said it was because of my good standings with my checking account.

I told the man I was not interested, he continued to say there were no money obligations, they just needed the name and routing number to my bank? I was immediatly even more tipped off and asked him, "if I won this because of my good standings with my bank then why wouldn't you have this information in front of you?"

The man of course could not answer and I told him once again "I am going to tell you once again NO because if it sounds too good to be true then it is." He is calling me back on Friday to see if I checked out his company on the BBB and the Web Site. Obviously I have done my research and am still convinced that my gutt instinct is right. I have found this web site and thank each one of you for posting your mishaps with this company for people like me that could of been taken advantage of.

The other thing that tipped me off is he was asking for me; not my husband. My checking is in both our names and his name first. I am the one who works at home from my computer. So obviously this is where they got my information. But thank goodness not all of it. Thank you again for this web site. I hope other people can read all these reports so they too can stop a scam!
