Color Tile Will RIP YOU OFF! Upland California

My husband and I ordered 560 sq. ft of tile from Color Tile in Upland, Ca. Two weeks later we decided to continue the tile and ordered 300 sq. ft. more. We had to supply Color Tile with the Dye Lot # so that we would be able to get the tile matched.

The Asst. manager wrote on the receipt the correct batch that we previously purchased. He told my husband that he would call around to the other stores to locate the tile. He told my husband that if there were any problems, he would call us. He never called us to report that there were any problems getting the correct tile. My tile layer picked up the tile over a week later and brought it to my house My husband and I were at work. When we came home...we noticed a huge difference in the tile.

We immediately called Color Tile and tried to contact the owner. We instead received a call from a man who claimed to be the owner's son. He told us that it was our responsibility and basically oh well. We found out that the tile we receieved was not from the same batch at all...it was from over 10 batches later. The tile was in poor condition..barely looked covered or dyed.

The owner called my husband the following day and told him that he would not do anything to help solve the problem. They would not take any responsibility at all. I am now in the process of obtaining court documents to take care of this matter. Do not buy from Color Tile in Upland, Pomona, or Bellflower. Roberto Gutierrez is the owner of all of these stores.
