Company failed to pay rebate of $25.00 on purchase at Fry Electronics in Dallas, TX of FRS handheld radios. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and was advised that the Company had filed for Bankruptcy. In pertinent part, here is the reply:
"In May 2004 Columbia Telecommunications Group informed the BBB that on April 21, 2004, it filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code in the Southern District of New York; Docket Number: 0412737ALG.
The BBB is currently unable to process claims against this firm due to its bankruptcy filing status. Consumers having any outstanding claims against this firm should contact the customer service department at: 1-800-889-7434"
