Columbia Telecommunications Group - Fry's Electronics ripoff 2-Way Radio Mail-In Rebate Scam Farmingdale New York

I purchased a set of two way radios from Fry's Electronics on June 2, 2003. With it came a mail-in rebate offer for $25.00. I completed all the required information and sent it into Columbia at the P.O. address provided on the form on June 3, 2003.

After waiting in excess of the required 12-14 weeks for delivery, I began calling the number provided for rebate status inquiries. Every day, at any time of the day, the phone number was busy. I then sent an email request and got no response.

After reading the comments of others online, it is apparent that the whole thing is a scam and that they are avoiding customers. I am extremely pissed off. I purchased the radios specifically because of the rebate offer, and I will NEVER purchase one of their products again!!
