Purchased an Olevia LCD TV (which is fine) and sent in all the necessary documents, which was a pain. The "Rebate Service Center" in Wixom, MI emailed me to say they got my paperwork (including the original serial number) but they pretend I didn't send in the original UPC code. Of course because I sent them the original I no longer have an original to send another.

(1) Require ridiculous effort to get rebate
(2) No payment when I make the ridiculous effort
