Countrywide mortgage rip off Simi Valley California

like the others I have read we too are victims of CountryWide ( CW ). Our story is this...we bought our home 5 yrs ago , we asked for more on our loan so we could do some landscaping and up date the electric, the papers we signed at closing said we where soposed to receive a check in 3 days for the amount of 15,000.00 this was in addition to our home loan, you know like a home improvement loan at the same time you do your closing, well we never received the check , they said there was a typographical error and we did not get the money, when I asked about the loan amount changing then to reflect the 15,000.00 the said they would do that , long story short the never did after a million phone calls we still have that extra amount on our loan amount and we never even saw the money.
NOW.....now we are like the rest of you, my husband lost his job, due to cut backs, he worked there for 8 yrs, we pay our bills on time and we HAD good credit, well he could not find another job making what he did or even close so he decided to go back to school and further his education, ( he is 43 ) I make a decent amount of money and we thought we could handle all the bills, using some of his 401k we paid off our truck and some small bills, then he went to Indiana to Aviation school, good for him right? no bad, the next month I get a letter from the tax office that they are foreclosing on our home in 14 days due to no taxes being paid on the home in 4 yrs!!! this was news to us as we have proof that our payments are to have an escrow account for that reason, well CW said they have never used that money to pay the taxes that this money was used to go to our principle, (remember that we never got a refund or credit for that 15,000.00) ok so we work with their work out department and in one week they saved the house BUT ! they up our payments from 800$ a month to 1108.45 a month, now we have an honest problem, THIS IS not in my budget, as my hubby was in school , working and me too working we still did not plan on having a mortgage payment of this amount, well the first month I found the money some how and made it, then the next 2 mos we did ok as we used more 401k money, well in Dec of 07 I sent them 800 of the 1108.45 payment, the next month I did the same, then they contacted me wanting to know when I could catch up, in talking to them and hearing my story the lady said she could apply for a renigatioation with the work out department and they would lower our interest rate, ( which was only 6 % ) and add a little to the payments and have us cought up in a year, she said our payment would be no higher than 800. GREAT I say!!!!! that was JAN 08, well it is now July, two weeks ago I finally got new papers from the loan department, ( which by the way I never talked to the loan officer or even got a phone call discussing the following ) my papers went like this: 3000 $ down interest of 8.25% and a new house payment of 1386.90$ We have tried to get a hold of this loan negotiator to no avail they are unavalible and you get someone different every time you call, SO we are not making payments ( i was told not to send in any payments that I should save that money for the downpayment ) so now we are 6 mos behind because they told me not to send payments, I am not signing the papers they sent because I know I cant pay that and they wont talk to me or even take a payment as I called and tried to send something but they told me they would only accept the full amount due ( 11,269.22 ) my husband will have a job in Feb 09 when he graduates and we will be moving to another state, so we put the house up for sale but no one is buying in this area, our house is listed for what we owe nothing more, countrywide reported us late on our payments for the last 6 mos, which we are due to them telling us not to send payments, its crazy if there is a law suit I would love to be involved , they did not help us the hurt us, we had great credit and never where late on anything now we may not even be able to rent a decent home in our new place as they all go by your credit. I hope THEY go bankrupt!!!!
