DIRECTV Satellite Television I am being billed for their services and nothing was ever even installed. They're trying to scam me. I need help. newark, New Jersey

I ordered directv but had to cancel. I found out satellite dishes are not allowed in my building.


The technician came to install it even though I cancelled. I told him I cancelled the order, so he said o.k. and left.


I got a bill from directv for $101.99. I called directv and they said there was a mix up and they would take the fees off of my bill.


I received an e-mail today and called directv again. They told me the technician connected  the services in my home which is impossible. He never even entered my apartment. He was told to leave while still at my front door.


Directv said I will still be billed for the t.v. services because I can't prove he is lying. I never signed a paper or anything for connection because I was never connected.


Now I owe money for something I never had. This is very unfair, and I refuse to pay something I do not owe.


They are lying and now want my money. Now they are charging me a large disconnection fee. I was never connected in the first place.

i had a customer i was talking to about a dish network installation. but she got a so called better deal from directv. competition thats is what it's all about. you win some and you lose some. 

well she called me after the directv installer came out. she told them not to install it on the roof. guess what it was on the roof when she came out to inspect the dish after the installer left. then screwed up the dvd player and stereo system . niether was connected right.

i got called two days later and she was complaining. i told her to call htem back it was under warranty and what the screwed up they should fix. i told her that it was my understanding from what i was told. i also expressed that she didnt just take my word call an attorney. that she had 3 business days to back out under oklahoma law.

she called them back and told them she wanted it pulled out she had three business days . the supervisor called her back and arranged to come out the next day. then she called me back and i told her that she would be outside her 3 business days and then she couldnt do anything about it. especially if they decided not to show.

she called  the supervisor back and told him to come out that day to either fix it or take it out. he showed up to fix it within 4 hours.  i also told her i knew who the supervisor was. the dish wasnt sealed to the roof either. i told her make him take it off the roof and seal it right. he did his song and dance and  then half assed the job. only sealed the top and bottom along the edge where it mount met the roof.

i know it was done that way. i went out to fix a problem they neglected to take care of.

i know the ok state attorney generals office had 45 complaints about directv so far this year. i know that cant be right i see all of you on here complaining and also all over the internet. you can log online but you cant pickup the phone. i told the customer to call and it took her 5 minutes to have the forms mailed to her.

if you realy feel wronged and taken advanged of . then turn around and call your state attorney generals office. some if not all state have a web site now. when your done complaining here . then you can take the time to log on to your states web site.
