Please BEWARE !! I am/was as member of Discount Global Travel. After they took my money and disappeared from Michigan, Ohio AND California; I got a letter from "DGT / Castaways Vacation Club" telling me that Castaways V.C. had joined forces with DGT and will now be servicing your membership. OH WAIT... IT GETS BETTER !!!
They will service our travel needs for "FREE" for the next 30 days and then you will have the option to pay the $159.00 Annual Membership fee or give up the investment that you made with your DGT membership purchase. Let me know if you are laughing has HARD as I am!
I encourage you to either call 866-729-6400 or 866-729-5541 and inquire on your DGT membership.
OH YEAH, something else... the letter that I got is signed by PETER HENRIK ( aka; Peder Henrick Seglund for those of you who have done your homework )

There is actually no affiliation between Discount Global Travel and Castaways Vacation Club. Discount Global went into bankruptcy and Duvera had the bank's financed receivables for Discount Global. Duvera Financial assigned Discount's member base to Castaways Vacation Club so that the Discount Global members that had signed Retail Installment Contracts could still be serviced efficiently. The former travel services were not satisfactorily servicing Discount Global's members and Duvera wanted to correct that situation. Duvera holds receivables from Discount Global for hundreds of thousands of dollars and is trying to minimize loss.
