There is a fake profile on this site, designed to extort money from the affected.  It includes a fake "copy/paste' of a complaint on another website.  That complaint does not exist.  The fake poster is posing as a concenered person who did an internet search and came up with specific personal info about the alleged "psycho."  That information comes up first when you search his name.  He is not the "psycho" in question, if that person even exists.  The fake poster included a web address of a background check website where she/he supposedly got the information.  It is a very common name, so his bad luck that it randomly brought his info up first to be used in this scam.

It is now in the top 4 internet searches of his name and home city.  It connects him with a story of a woman abuser with the same name.  The site will not remove the post unless you pay them $100.  While they are not responsible for user posted content, they are responsible for removing it once it is brought to their attention.  This could hurt the person in question when employers search his name.  These are serious accusations against an innocent person.  What can be done?
