Dave And Busters Kicked out for no reason Milpitas California

I came to Dave and Busters with a part of 23 people to celebrate my brother's 21st birthday. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was very nice. We had wait staff who worked hard and accommodated extra people at the last minute.

After dinner and playing a few games, 3 of the people in our party went to play pool. There was a waiting list, so they put their names on the list and were waiting. These were all gentlemen in their 20s who had been drinking a little during dinner (2 beers each), but were by no means drunk.

After waiting a while, one of the 3 named David heard Ceci (one of the people working at the counter) call "Stephanie O." He jokingly approached her and claimed that he was Stephanie. She began to hand him balls and walk him to a pool table. Then, Mike, another person behind the counter, told Ceci that he was indeed not Stephanie and told him he could not get a table. At that point, David left the pool table area.

In the meantime, the other 2 gentlemen, Scott and Jesse, were still waiting to play pool. They called Scott's name. Scott approached the counter, handed Ceci his ID to verify that he was Scott and grabbed a rack of balls. When Mike (the guy at the counter who had realized that David was earlier "pretending" to be Stephanie) saw Scott getting a table he told Ceci that he would no be getting a table (Mike had seen David standing near Jesse and Scott earlier). Scott explained that his name had been called and that he was next on the list. They said he would not be getting a table. Scott and Jesse both asked to see the list. Mike hid it under the counter and told them they could not. Jesse asked to see a manager.

At that point, Mike asked the security guards to escort Jesse and Scott outside. The security guards grabbed Scott's beer out of his hand and shoved him out the door. While they were waiting outside, they asked security to please call me, as I was with them and they couldn't leave without me. Security said they would contact me, but they never did. After several minutes and muffled cell phone calls I realized they had been kicked out. I immediately went outside. They told me they had been waiting outside for about 20 minutes. Security had been yelling at them the entire time to leave the property, but they could not as they were waiting for me and did not want me to walk to the car alone in the dark. I asked security for their names as I left and they reported that both of their names were "John". I know this was a lie as Jesse had heard one call the other "Jim" a few minutes earlier.

I called and asked to speak with the manager that evening. I left him my information and asked that he return my call to apologize for the way we were treated but I never heard back from him.
