Discount tire will not put new tires on the fron of your car i bought a new tire had to order it from them and then they refused to put it on the front, by doing this they are making users keep older tires on the front, front tires will where out quicker and make you buy new tires sooner than you have to and they will not even rotate your tires if the ones on the back are in better condition than the front ones! so much for free tire rotation. In short they do not care about your safety!!! just money!! I feel better already i have told 8 people about this and will continue to do so! i will also post on as many sites as i can find!

Tire Manufacturer Marketing Ploy

This is a marketing ploy put out by tire manufactures. They know the front tires wear out faster period. I recently went to Discount and they refused to put the two new tires on the front and my back tires were only 3 months old. I went across the street to a Purcells tire and automotive and they put the 2 new tires on the FRONT - NO PROBLEM- NO HASSLE. What does that tell you...

(((redacted rudeness))) You should really do your research before you run your mouth reckless on websites! Truthfully Discount tire may have saved you and your families lives by not putting those new tires on the front of your car! It's a fact that new tires on the front and old tires on the rear cause hydroplaning and or loss of traction in wet conditions! I worked for Discount Tire from 2008 to 2010 and the companies policy is to always take care of their customers and keep them safe!
Yet there is always some genius like yourself that knows more than a company who's expertise are nothing but tires! so go on down to Firestone or Walmart I'm sure they will put those new tires on the front for you and when your car is wrecked or you family members get killed you'll be filing a lawsuit on the count of them putting the new tires on the front! Use your brain and do your research before you slam a company for performing the correct method because (((redacted rudeness))) with this post! Former TXD43 employee

I am sure there are many more accidents caused by front tire failures, fact is it's my decision and my money and i will pay more to have it done the way i want it done! so those tire places "Discount Tire" will not get my business, when my rear tires are less than a year old 90% tread left and i need to replace a tire because of an alignment problem and the tire company refuses tells me it's not crap!

A multi-million dollar lawsuit awarded 8 million dollars to a victim of hydroplaning. An investigation determined the tire company "negligently" placed the new tires on the front and was responsible for the vehicle owners injuries resulting in becoming a quadraplegic.
You can google tire placement requirements and see why the refused to follow your not so smart instructions.
All your tire conspiracy crap is just that...crap.
