Division of child support enforcement & the State of Arizona department of economic security are lazy to research, they do not return calls, & they are very rude ...

My ex moved from California to Arizona in 1995. When she moved there was a court order in Ca that I was mail child support payments directly to her home in Mesa Az. I have kept every money order reciept that I sent to her. What she did is collect welfare and food stamps while I was sending her support payments and she also had a live in boyfreind she did not report to DES.

I just recieved notice from the IRS that Arizona put a lien on my taxes and took my tax return check. I contacted DES in Arizona and told them there was an error, that I paid her support the whole time she lived in Arizona which was 1995-1999. To this day I have called DES several times and have sent my reciepts to them three times and as of 5/21 they still say resend the reciepts.

The DES transfers you from one person to another, they will not give you a physical address, they will not give you a phone number to your case worker, they will not release information to me from the file. The DES tells me they will have to contact my ex and ask her it in fact she did recieve the money even though the proof has been sent. Do they really think that my ex will say yes he paid me and pay back the money or take the chance to be charged for welfare fraud?

The system is corrupt and unfair. There are so many dead beat dads they can be going after instead of wasting time on a case that should be cleared up. That is why Arizona and other child services are overloaded and losing money because there are so many cases that should be closed and collecting money from the people that really owe. I am fighting a similar case in California against her and also dealing with the IRS because she also committed tax fraud. The court system and DES need to get their (poopy)straight. I am totally disgusted and loss all faith in the system.
