I found Doba through Ebay when I was looking for more dropshippers. They claim to guarantee the lowest wholesale price, and to have tools great for ebay specifically. I signed up for the 7 day free trial.

I read that I had 7 days to cancel my account for that transaction. The very next day I got a call from a salesman who was a bit high on the pressure to buy the service now for the best deal possible- 15 months for the price of 12, as well as a huge discounted price of 299.00. They were "throwing in" several other features to help me succeed on ebay. I was a fool- and I bit. He explained that this would give me several new features, but never said anything about cancelling if I was not happy. I honestly thought I could still cancel within the 7 days still.

I went to sell on ebay. It took me 4 hours to find items that were actually priced well! I was able to search the internet for each of the items I liked, and found other stores selling them for less. What does that mean? Someone elses RETAIL price was at, or much lower than Dobas "wholesale" price!! That to me means they are not dealing in wholesale prices, and their guarantee is false advertising.

Finally, I chose 7 items, used their special listing tools and within 1 day, all of my listings were removed from ebay, their reason being that they felt my account had been taken over by a third party. They even froze my account!

I called Doba. They could care less. He told me that I should have read the fine print better, and that he would cancel my account but that they would not refund my money. I mentioned the closing of my account, and he said that was odd, but if I faxed letters to and from ebay they could fix that. Um, I just paid 300 dollars, why do *I* need to do this? Next I told him about finding cheaper retail prices. He said the guarantee meant that if I found cheaper wholesalers I could give their information to doba and they would try to get them on board. I told him, "If I find a better wholesaler, why would I give them to you? I would use them directly! I paid 300 dollars, why should I have to find cheaper wholesalers for you!?"

I mentioned the low price guarantee and he said that I was looking at retail stores, and it was apples and oranges, and even if they were cheaper, it did not negate the guaranteed lowest wholesale price. By my reasoning, if ABC store can sell it below Dobas cost at retail prices, I can only imagine what the wholesale price is that they are getting! Somewhere, there is a wholesaler who is severely undercutting them in order to enable such retail prices, which to me is proof enough- but Doba reps did not care.

He even told me that it was of no use to them for me to have a cancelled account because they dont make money on the sales, so I should just use the account and keep it for a year, but that my money was theirs.

I submitted a BBB complaint, and they responded the same, telling me that I should have known that the two transactions were separate, and that my money was not refundable according to the print, even though I stated that if it was a whole new transaction, it was one that was verbally completed and those terms should have been explained, but they weren't. According to them, it was a new transaction, so the 7 days did not apply. I say if it was a new transaction, the terms should have been readdressed so I knew what I was getting into. But again, they dont care, they wont give me back my money, and their service is useless! I use it and my account gets frozen. I could buy on Amazon and get more profit reselling their items than by using Doba.

Stay away from this company. Don't even sign up for a free trial. They could care less if you are happy- their guarantee is worth less than a speck of salt. SO many complaints on here and on ebay- I just don't see how they still continue on. I am sad, and out 300.00 at Christmas. Fool me once, shame on me. They won't fool me twice!
