Dollar Tree New port richey florida lying managers new port richey, Florida

hi i used to work for dollar tree in new port richey florida i worked there for over a year and wanted to move up in the company so badly to make more money to support my family so you can understand how happy i was when the manager told me that he was gonna give me a chance.

i was so happy and we did all the training and all the applications online i sat there with him when we submited the application and he said it would take about 2 to 3 days to hear back from whomever it got sent to. the manager then told me that he talked to the gm and he was all for me moving up and i was a great worker and all kinds of bull crap.

the manager then decided he was going to go on vacation and he hadnt heard anything yet so i had to wait till he got back from vacation which was fine it was worth it to me at the time.

it was around mothers day when the DM came into the store and for two weeks i was told that we were waiting for the paperwork to come back to see if i was approved one of the other managers and i were talking one day and i asked her if the DM had said anything about my app and what was going on and i was told that he wanted to talk to me in the office when i was done with my shift so again i got all excited at the time.

i walked into the office at the end of my shift and asked the DM if he had heard anything about the application i had put in for assistant manager and he looked right at me and said with a straight face (I DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT) i was like the store manager said he had talked to u and you approved me and we put an application into corporate so he said okay lets look it up and the applicatoin mysteriously wasnt there anymore and all the lies for three weeks oh yeah were just waiting for conformation i talked to teh DM and he said yeah go for it the man didnt even know what i was talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was all crap and if anyone is stupid enough to work for this company than i feel sorry for ya cause all the ones that are close to the DM get special treatment and the little people get ignored. And its all the people that he brought into the company that used to work with him at another company. all his friends that are close to him do the same as him they lie to get there way and the managers that arent as close to him get S#*+ on and work harder than the ones that dont do anything Thank you and have a great day
