We were in desperate need of a car and found an ad on Craigslist for a rent to own auto dealer. This was the worst car buying experience ever. First off they barely had an inventory so the salesman took us to the back where their so called mechanics were checking vehicles they just got from auction. There was a pt cruiser they were working on and the salesman told us he could get us in that vehicle for the price we were willing to pay.

So we did the paperwork and when they brought us the vehicle it was full of dog hair and he I told us to take it and get it cleaned and they would reimburse us. That is not very professional. So we get the car home and it runs for a day then the bumper fell off and the check engine light came on.Oh yeah and to top it off the total cost of this piece of crap was about 18,000 when blue book was 3400.

They ended up getting us a ford focus which we did not want but it was the best they had at the time, but since our insurance was for the cruiser they turned the car off using their gps and my wife had to miss work even though our insurance agent spoke with Mandy in the financing dept and explained that we were insured but it didn't matter to her she shut the car off anyways.

We ended up paying 600 dollars and nothing to show for it. They are a bunch off crooks. We ended up getting approved at a Toyota dealership and are so much happier. I just wish I could get my money back.

This customer was repossessed for nonpayment

AUTHOR: EZ OWN Auto Source - ()

POSTED: Monday, April 29, 2013

As soon as this customer experienced issues with the PT Cruiser they had chosen, we promptly put them into a loaner car in until we could find a vehicle that fit their needs. We spent the next three weeks trying to get the customer back in so they could pick a different car. The customer never showed or would not return the messages we left. The customer also did not want to make their payment while they were driving one of our loaner vehicles for an entire month, and were not responsive to messages left regarding payment, insurance and registration.  We ultimately had to repossess the vehicle when their past due balance reached $628.09. We were more than willing to work with the customer to make them happy, but their lack of communication forced us to repossess. We wish him well in his new vehicle.
