Factory Expo lures manufactured housing buyers into their offices in Chandler, AZ via email advertisements and traps them into a deceptive contract to seize their Escrow or down payment funds if the deal falls through for any reason. The optimal way to get your refund is in the court of 'public opinion' and consumer advocates. Join me in exposing this rapacious company.

Issue Resolved

AUTHOR: Bertha - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, April 17, 2013

I am writing to clarify my earlier statement/post regarding Alta Cima Corp. d/b/a Factory Expo Home Center. There was a misunderstanding between Factory Expo and myself regarding my Purchase Agreement. My statements were made in error and without attempting to contact Factory Expo to resolve the situation. I would like to officially rescind my original statements and, further, clarify that Factory Expo has resolved this issue, in its entirety, and to my complete satisfaction.

Buying & Selling Mobile Homes

AUTHOR: Bertha - ()

POSTED: Friday, March 29, 2013

Consumer Information found at Lawyers.com

Excerpt under the subtitle Sales By Dealers

The dealer must establish an escrow account to hold the buyer's purchase money until all conditions of the sales contract have been met and the buyer has taken delivery of the mobile home.

A sales contract will be considered rescinded, or cancelled, if a buyer conditions the sale on his or her ability to get financing, the seller knows that the buyer intends to obtain financing from a third party without the assistance of the seller, and the buyer is unable to obtain financing within 30 days after the contract is signed.

The sales contract must contain the disclosures required by the Truth in Lending Act (TILA),
such as the name of any lender who is providing the buyer with financing, the amount financed, finance charges, and annual percentage rate.
