I had a flood in my home.  I called Michaelis Corp. because they specialize in fire and water restoration.  They came out and tried to clean up the flood.  That first trip should have been a warning.  Their guys seemed like they were stoned and I could smell pot on them, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.  When it came time to put my home back together they sent some guy out to figure out the total price for my insurance.  His name was "Hamilton".  I don't know if this is his first or last name, but he reeked of alcohol, was drunk, hateful, short and obnoxious.  I was assured by management that he had just had a bad day.  This should have been clue #2 to not use them.  I went ahead and had them do the work because I felt pressured into it.  It took them 2 months longer to get me back in my home than they originally promised.  I ended up spending almost $20,000 more than what insurance covered and I was guaranteed that I wouldn't have to.  The workers that came out were totally unproffessional.  When I pulled up there was usually 2 or 3 of them out front smoking cigarettes.  It looked like a pool hall.  My neighbors even commented on it.  There were actually a few different times that I had to pick up empty beer cans behind them.  I couldn't believe it.  When I talked to the man in charge, he would just say "I'll handle it".  I was talking to on employee once, who did seem like a decent young man, voicing my concerns, he told me that one customer actually walked in on one of the managers performing oral sex on another employee in the customers office.  I would be horrified.  The flooring they put down never has stayed down and they claim it is not their fault.  They have left walls "open" where they cut the drywall out and never replaced it.  They have ruined my home.  It will never be like home again.  I have spent over $10,000 trying to undo the damage they have done.   I wish I had not listened to Cincinnati Insurance and called them.  I am going to look for new homeowners insurance too because of this.  Stay away from Michaelis Corp unless you want your home destroyed too.

Michaelis Corporation has provided hundreds of Indianapolis homeowners with professional restoration services.  All of our employees are screened and we do background checks prior to employment.  The only way we can ever provide and meet our 100% client satisfaction goal is to work with any concerns directly with our customers.  I can assure you we have a strict policy of conduct and if we need to
address any concern we will do so in a professional and expedient manner.  In order to address your concern we must first discuss the situation and know who this is making this anonymous posting.  Contact our general manager, Bill, at 317 251-1935 anytime during business hours.

We suggest any consumer take the time to check out any firm they are going to engage for a service.  At Michaelis we'll provide you as many references of past clients as our future customers would like to have. This allows you to talk with real customers not some anonymous source who does not even post their name on the internet.  Reality is there are many many fake reviews all over the web.  We suggest you check out a firm by getting references of our customers in your area and by checking out a firm through the Better Business Bureau.
