Fitness Plus Equipment Services, Inc. www.fitnessrepairparts.com 15-day warranty is deceptive. We recently ordered (January 6, 2013) a BowFlex 5 Series Treadmill refurbished control for $180.50 + $17.16 Shipping + $75 core charge totaling $272.66 That worked 3 times before failing.

The part arrived on January 14th. We promptly installed the part and returned the replaced part for the $75 core return. The refurbished part worked fine for three uses and failed after two weeks on January 30th. On February 8th, we received a "Thanks For Shopping With Us" email and we immediately responded by email the same day that their refurbished part had failed.

We received an auto reply to call their support team with part numbers and information. Upon calling them today Monday February 11, I was informed that their electronic parts have a 15-day warranty and that it has been a month. Our only recourse was to purchase another $272.66 part and ship their refurbished part back for another core return. If we knew that they would have an impossible to achieve 15-day warranty we would never have invested money with such an inflexible retailer.
