So I have just gone through the most interesting and fraudulent experience I have ever had with any company. This company will refuse to give you information about themselves, they will hang up on you and tell you to pay a bill you do not owe.

They will not give you any information that would be useful to you in helping to dissolve the dispute other than pay your bill, that's right the one you do not owe.

I owed a company money even though the amount was in dispute; basically over looked by the company. No explanation could stop these harassing phone calls, when you would attempt to explain the situation to Franklin.

I finally authorized a payment of $49.00 to be taken out of my account and was very adament about not paying any more money than what I actually owe. They have this all on recording, yet claim that I authorized a $10.00 processing payment to go to them when they know that I would have been completely floored by anymore than $49.00 dollars being taken from my account and any payment of my money going to their company.

I called back a day or two later, and the lady I spoke with and had given my account number too, no longer worked with the company(she was the only person who had given me her full name). I spoke with someone else and they said it would take a couple days before I would see the $49.00 deduction from my account.

At no time did the lady mention that I would also see $10.00 coming out of my account paid to them. I was told I could not pay by mail, then I was told I could have paid by mail. I would have sent a money order for $49.00 if I had known these scrupulous individuals were going to scam me for $10.00. It upsets me that $10.00 of my money went to this type of business.

I would advise any individual to never make payments to this company, never give them your account numbers, and ask them to stop calling you. The best thing you can do is contact the actual company and advise them of this companies actions toward you. The company you owe will set up payments with you, they want paid too.

In my opinion, Franklin Collection Services is sneaky, not trustworthy, and will figure out a way to make money off of you somehow, someway. Now that I have proven that I do not owe this bill to At&T, everthing is said and done, the only part is Franklin Collection Services got me for $10.00 that I really do not have by saying that I authorized a payment to them. Is this a form of bank fraud, it would cost me $25.00 to stop the payment and Franklin knows that.

Companies all over the nation need to refrain from using Franklin Collection Services if they are a professional company who believe ethics are important.
