GMAC Financial Services Bait and Switch Clooection and Repossession Fees Dallas Texas

Our car was repossessed. I understand that it was my fault for not making the payments. I get that and don't dispute that they had a right to. We contacted them to rectify the situation and reclaim the car. To make a very long story short. We received a total amount due, put the money together and overnighted it to them. We provided tracking numbers, etc and were told that they would make the necessary calls to avoid having the car moved to auction. We called in to verify receipt of payment and were told that the car had been moved and there were additional fees. I explained that we were told that they would not move the car if we gave them the tracking information they requested. They claimed that they would never say that (eventhough the repossessors claim that they have had those calls before from this same company) and will not waive the additional costs. This is where we are at right now. They also claim that the total we sent in was just a quote and that they could not ever guarantee an amount.
