Galasource Inc. Galasource.com Brett Harris Denver Fraud, deception and bad business by Brett Harris founder of Galasource in Denver Colorado

United Glassware & China Company on August 21, 2008 purchased certain assets from the Galasource Company. The assets have been purchased out of foreclosure from a 3rd party lender. The sale did not include the Galasource Company, only assets related to the domain name, content and website. The Galasource Company through its prior ownership, maintain complete responsibility for all company liabilities including returns, damages, purchase orders and all other sales related activity prior to August 21, 2008. United Glassware did not retain in any capacity the prior owner or management personnel from the Galasource Company.

United Glassware also owns The Restaurant Source, a restaurant supply and equipment company located in Denver, Colorado since 1951. TRS operates an 80,000 sq ft warehouse, along with a 15,000 sq ft equipment showroom and a current inventory of over 5,000 foodservice related products.

The Galasource website is now active and being operated by The Restaurant Source.

I would argue that many vendors on the website remained active and website orders were probably taken and cash cleared with out there being ANY hope of ever being shipped, I would speculate that many orders were never even sent the vendors. But clearly the money was taken in advance with full knowledge of management that these orders would never ship. I am not an attorney or a judge but I am sure that this is illegal and more than likely (based on dollar amount) probably a felony. So is any one going to prosecute Brett Harris or Galasource ?

This was only a matter of time, the owner of Galasource is Brett Harris and his business practices and ethics are questionable at best and from what it now appears could be criminal behavior. I for one am glad that he is finally reaping what he sowed over the years. Greed, ego and litigation are not the best ways to manage a company and I think he may finally be enlighted to that. I think Brett Harris going to jail may be the best thing for the business community. He should be made an example, he raped that company through rebates and crooked contarcts. If you know whats good for you, stay away from anything that has his name involved.

I did some business with Brett Harris and Galasource and he ripped me off and lied to me as well. He threatened to sue me ! I hope the other people he burned out there get their money back. I got lucky. Everyone should heed the advice they read about him he is a terrible businessman and I would not trust him.

Before the internet and blogging, businesses and people could operate any way they chose, and not many people would know about it. Now, we can see that this business, and the person running it in full view. It would be nice to know from "thetruthongala" what statements are untrue. Was money taken from customers, and product not delivered? Should the BBB have stepped in sooner, there might be fewer customers who were blatantly ripped off.

It wasn't the exec team that caused the demise of Galasource. There were actually some good, knowledgeable people on that team.

The demise came from the very top by the single person who treated employees with threats and attempts at intimidation.

He is devoid of moral compass and has a sick obsession with the material world and thrives on thinking he is a big man around Denver. In business he consistently thrashes everyone around he lies and steals to the point of felony then breaks his contracts and then he sues. He leads a delusional hollow existence, void of real human connection. He has no real friends and has even sued his own family. The same typical delusions of a man who thinks he is great, omnipotent. Brett did not "take care" of anyone he worked with. The fact that he tried to help people is a farce, it was ultimatley for his own gain or to use the fact that he had done something as leverage later in the relationship. He drove galasource into the ground single handedly with the adjectives that define his character, greed, fear, ego. Look up the word megalomania. Brett's picture is there. Brett has delusional fantasies of wealth, power, genius, and delusions of grandeur. He has a clear obsession with obtaining grandiosity and extravagance, especially in the form of fame, popularity, material wealth, social influence and power. He has an irrational preoccupation with his own estimation. He is a walking joke and everyone who knows him truly understands that. The people that defend him do not understand the man he is. He is a fake that was dreamed up by listening to Tony Robbins and vomiting that psycology to anyone who would listen. He fooled a lot of people. Brett is unreservedly pathetic, starved for attention, and lost in a land that reality forgot. Well it is clear and evident that there is much disdain toward Brett Harris from his former employees and business partners. My question is this; what happens to all of the creditors who are owed hundreds of thousands of dollars ? Can Brett Harris simply file business and personal bankruptcy and be free and clear from reprisal from all the people and businesses he has burned ? Seems very unfair.
