General Electric Company ripoff General Electric In Home repair service sent us a repairman who said if the freezer did not work to buy a new one as no one could fix it Louisville Kentucky
*UPDATE Employee: No such thing
We called In Home service repair, as the freezer seems to go on and off. The repairman arrived and said if the freezer did not work right to buy a new appliance, he made no attempt to check out the freezer in any way. He said it would cost at least $3000 to repair and we should just buy a new one for $4000.00.
Ours lasted 6 years, but 6 years for a $4000 applicances seems exceeding expensive. $60.00 to the repairman to tell me to buy a new one without even checking the old one, also seemed extremely expensive!

Was this reapirman a G.E. factory tech or just some local repairman. There is no such thing as an unfixable freezer. There is also no such thing as a 4,000.00 dollar repair no matter what it is. I fyou do not live within the range of a tech that is not G.E.'s fault. Your comments are absolutely false, unless you can show an estimate from the tech that made the comments.
