Go Doers ripoff, fake charity Washington District of Columbia

This company sells magazines door to door claiming that they will be mailed to the YMCA. They suck you in by telling stories of how they need these recommendations from buyers to get a job/custody of their children/get off the streets where they were selling drugs/etc.
For those of you who may have already fallen for this and wrote a check, call your bank immediately and place a cancellation request on your check. There may be a fee for this, but it is better than letting that money go to a scamming company and may be cheaper than what you already paid.
