Drivers wanted to pick fights with me in effect, making smart remarks or making unprofessional jabs at me while not knowing really who I was but implying that they did. This was too personal in effect to be doing to a tourist who is visiting your country and was just sitting looking out the window or placing a bag in the luggage bay. Just ludicrous.

Stations are closed over night, many of them, such as Sydney, so be sure of that. They will book you to travel through there with an overnight layover but the terminal will be closed. The largest city in Australia, or one of them, Sydney, has no terminal bathrooms, you need to find a public toilet someplace else. Absurd. They also close at 6pm.

Travel through Melbourne and you will find that if you get bumped, Greyhound has no service Saturday or Sunday, a pleasant shock that. Transit police don't care and will tell you this has to be your fault and you have to leave. A surly bunch they are! Just absurd again. Really I think I'd not advise anyone to travel to Australia ever! It was that bad.

Coaches are nice and new but just don't use them. Drivers were so protective of not getting any dirt on the floor and I had one lecture me about a milk container as though I was not capable of drinking a container of milk without making a mess of it, in his words he was worried about the stink. Really? Gosh, what a bummer that is. Get over yourselves.

Nobody, not even drivers, seemed to know where their bus was going, for instance I wanted to board a bus in Sydney to go up north and the driver lied about where it was going. They wanted to strand me there.

I think I would stay home, avoid Australia as a whole, and beyond that not travel by bus at all. Overall a poor showing for someone who wanted to see their country and have a nice time. They don't know how to do that is their biggest problem. Avoid them at all costs.
