Guaranteed Financial Benefits is a complete RIPPOFF! I will tell you why.

One day I was surfing on the net and I guess I filled out something for info on CREDIT REPAIR and companies started e-mailing me and calling me. Well at the beginning I just ignored them. Like so many people my wife and myself's credit was not so good and we were in a crunch. I had told my wife about a company that had told me that I had been approved for a visa or Mastercard with a credit limit up to two thousand dollars. They explained that their service was there to help me repair my credit aand all I had to do was put $249.00 in my checking account and they guaranteed me a Visa or Mastercard with a credit limit up to $2,000.00

Of course I was skeptical and so was my wife but they said that the card also had a zero percent interest for two years. They also said that they would send my payment history every month to the Credit Bureau to rebuild my credit.

Time went on and I sort of kept putting them off and then my wife and I were in sort of a crunch with our kids fixing to start school.

We did not even have the $249.00 in the bank so we figured if we could get a $249.00 advance on my check we could get the card WITH NO INTEREST of course and get the necessary items for our kids.

I continued to ask more questions and they assured me it would be a Mastercard or Visa with a credit limit up to two thousand dollars. I even asked them what kind of percentage on the balance we must pay every month and they explained that the company liked people to pay at least five percent every month. They also said I would be recieving my card within 25 business days.

Well we put the money in the bank and they withdrew it within the next day. We waited for our card and nothing came exctept a package that my wife told me was sent to me.

We had been expecting a credit card so I didnt even realize that this package was it. I called the toll free number 3 or 4 times and they assured me that the card was coming. I even spoke to a operator one time who when I said if I did not recieve my card I was going to call the better business Bureau. She rudely said I could call whoever I wanted and that I was tape recorded and there was nothing I could do. I then asked her for her name and she said she did nit have to give it to me. I asked for her supervisor and she told me that she would not give me to her supervisor and I would have to call back and then preceded to hang up on me.

My wife and I had to track our so called credit card and we finally realized that the package they sent us was the so called credit card package.

The contents of the package contained a folder with Guardian Health Benefits such as subscription benefits and supposedly discounts with health providers, grocery coupons, a discount book, a credit repair cd, a free security system of course you have to pay a 36 month monitoring fee subject to good credit, also a form stating we could upgrade our benefits for $19.95, and a cheezy book on how to repair your credit.

Our guaranteed credit card with a $2000.00 limit turned out to be a GLOBAL Cash Card that you have to had to send in a form along with a check or money order for another $39.95 to First Processing and here is the kicker YOU HAVE TO LOAD YOUR OWN MONEY ON IT!!!!!!

Not once did they EVER tell me about a benefit package! I dont know how someone could misrepresent themselves in such a way that would be considered criminal! I paid $250.00 for a freaking credit repair cd and a cheezy book. I am looking to file a LAWSUIT. I want my money back plus the two thousand dollars they promised me and money to compensate for everything they have put me and my wife through.

I checked with the Better Business Bureau of New York and they have had 39 sales issues complaints and Guardian did not respond to 38 of them and they had one delayed resolution.

They had 4 delivery issued and Guardian did not respond to any of them.

They had 57 refund or exchange issues solved 5 and did not respond to 52 of them.

They had 2 customer service issues and responded to none of them.

IF THERE IS ANYONE WITH ADVICE MY FAMILY WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Stupid me!!! Fraud!!Fraud!!!Great deal, HUH?

AUTHOR: Andrea - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, August 20, 2004

I, just like everyone else, thought I was getting a good deal. I sent the money off. But this morning, I started thinking about it. So I started looking up the credit card. And wow, I was surprised to see all the complaints. My card is not due to come for another 2-3 weeks. Yeah right. Like I am ever going to see that thing.

I called to ask a few questions about the card. Of course the lady was rude to me. And when I asked her for her name, she said it was Joe Blow and hung up on me. Dang her. I am fighter and I am going to get my money back. I did some more research and came across how I can do that. I am sure some of you have already seen it. But here is the website. badbusinessbureau.com/reports/ripoff13224.htm

Check it out. It may help someone else. Can't believe I got scammed. Never again! So for anyone else, watch out. Don't do it. As a matter of fact, dont ever give your bank account number to anyone.
