Habib Salo represents himself to be very "kind" and "hands on" landlord.  Not the case.  Habib Salo, owner of Youngs Nails, in Anaheim, rented a condo and represented it to be safe and in good condition.

Habib Salo did not disclose the ongoing fight and pending lawsuit he is currently pursuing with the builder of same condominium and HOA. Habib Salo told me in writing and in person to stay at a hotel and stated in writing and in person: that he would repay the expenses of the hotel stay, the replaced lighting unit and any expenses from the mold growing in and on the flooring in Mr Salo's condominium.

Habib Salo did repair the broken toilets, once the threat of lawsuit and report to Health Department was issued. Incurring over $2000 worth of promised reimbursement, Habib Solo became unreachable and litigious.  Rather than pay his own costs, Habib Salo threatened to evict while slandering my good and honest name.

Calling me a deadbeat and refusing to pay or respond to his expenses. He is a true DEADBEAT LANDLORD.

He's right:

1) have not sued

2) will sue

3) will win any and all actions against Habib Salo.

Habib Salo is friendly, attractive and such an exceptional salesman. Just seems like a great guy and if protecting his family by lying avd cheating others is the best he can do, then maybe he is, in fact a "good guy."

That said, being on the receiving end of Habib Salo's investment-disaster, unknowingly saddled with responsibility of supporting it.

As symptoms of extreme proportion continued and worsened, contacted excellent firm to run the necessary tests. I had no clue of what was happening but I was feeling horrible.  Thousands of dollars and was certain the OWNER would want the results as mu he or more than myself.

When I emailed the info to Mr Salo, letting him know that I would forward anything I received, be did not thank me. His lawyer contacted me with a "cease n desist."

Here's why: Condo on Glencoe in Marina Del Rey. at Del Rey Lofts, had levels of toxic mold that were so dangerous for both me and my animals that I am lucky to be alive. Moreover he not only knew about it, but the real estate agent who rented the property to me and lives in the building also knew about it. This mold was centered, for some reason,  in the master bedroom walkin closet.

Every single thing I own had to be either professionally treated and removed after being removed, thrown away, replaced. or just lost altogether. The basic damages from this one incident cost me not including rent. not including moving expenses or deposits, upwards of $65,000 if not closer to $75,000.

Every designer purses,  shoes, clothes, my brand-new furniture .....new everything-HAD TO GO. Destroyed and airborne mold grows FAST. COVERED IN FUNGUS....

MY GORGEOUS RUGS....  Had mold growing up thru bamboo flooring, thru ½ inch rug pad, deep into 3/4 inch wool and silk rugs. I had to just leave them. They were too big and heavy to treat and nothing could be taken with rapid growing fungus. which I could not even get cleaned. It was a full blown nitemare.

My 25 year old movers-ALL 3 were sick and had to stop moving For 2 days to recover.

I got the results. tests conclusive: lethal levels of airborne mold toxicity.

too busy recovering from this devastation.   however, a fact remains that criminal charges are likely outcome for

Habib Salo's deception greed .

This came put of the master bedroom walk in closet. Exposed to air for less than 60 mins.

Results were less than 24 hours. This was a Home Depot Test and long after the pro tests were taken at other end of condo.

Sure-he's a GREAT GUY! HA....HA.. HA

Facts of the Situation

AUTHOR: H. Salo - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, December 09, 2012

To Whom It May Concern:

The tenant that is making these claims is not named Mia, but rather Pamela Antick. I am not sure why she used a different name to file this report. Pamela's claims are not accurate. First of all, Young Nails has nothing to do with this situation. I own the condo and Pamela is the first tenant I have ever had, as my wife and 3 year old daughter recently moved. I thought renting the condo would be a good idea, but it has been a nightmare to say the least. I may never rent it out again after this experience.
Fact 1
- There is no lawsuit with the HOA. I contacted the President of the HOA to find out if there was in fact a mold issue, and he reassured me that there is no such issue at all. Please do the research and see for yourself that there is no lawsuit with me and the HOA. This is why Pamela was never informed of an issue, because it never existed.

Fact 2
- Pamela thought there was toxic mold growing in my unit. So, I hired a certified lab to come in and get air samples to test to make sure there was no toxic mold. The tests came back, and sure enough, there is no toxic mold. I have all the reports to prove this. I sent the reports to Pamela and I thought she would be happy, but instead she still claimed there was toxic mold because she believes that to be the case. She accused me of trying to purposefully harm her, which is totally ludicrous. She claimed that I was working with the lab to falsify the reports, which is also totally ludicrous. The condo is clean and safe, but for some reason she has a problem accepting this.

Fact 3
- My property manager quit after 2 months of dealing with Pamela. He called me and said he could not handle working with her anymore, and was very apologetic about the situation. He told me I would have to deal direct with her from now on, which started at the beginning of November.

Fact 4
- I told Pamela I would reimburse her for the a light fixture and for staying at a hotel while my condo was being tested for toxic mold. I have every intention of reimbursing her. I never told her that I would not. There is no evidence of me telling her that I will not pay her back, which has me totally perplexed as to why she would file this report. She just sent me the receipts maybe 2 days ago, but she has not given me any time to reimburse her. If I tell someone that I will reimburse them, then I will do it, its that simple. She has the idea that I will not, and I ask her to present any evidence that shows me telling her that I will not reimburse her.

Fact 5
- I told Pamela that I would break the lease because she is not happy at my unit, and I would even reimburse her the full deposit. This is also something I will do, but she is asking me for the deposit check right now, when she is still living in the unit. I cannot reimburse her until she is officially moved out because I have to make sure there is no property damage. Once that is determined, then the deposit will be sent. She insists that I am going back on my word, and I am not. As soon as she moves out, she will get her deposit back, pending that there is no property damage, which I dont anticipate to be the case.
This entire experience has me stressed out beyond belief. It has affected my work and family life, and the consistent harassing emails are proving to be very scary for me and my family. I have done everything in my power to provide a safe environment, and I would never put a tenant in harm, never. I understand customer service better than most people, and my attempts to work with her have failed as there is no way I am able to make her happy. These are the facts, and I have all the evidence to support them.
