*Consumer Suggestion: If this is still an issue that has not been resolved
PLEASE BEWARE of this company AND GEMB. I was just informed that I owe this company over $3K, and I had never even heard of them!
I am in the process of FIGHTING to get this mess off of my credit report. My score is LOW now because SOMEONE decided to make it look like I borrowed money from a place that I've NEVER HEARD of - to supposedly buy something that I DID NOT BUY!
ARRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GE Money Bank WILL NOT EVER CORRECT THEIR MISTAKES because it is the right thing to do.
You have to file formal complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and Office of Thrift Supervision. Otherwise GEMB will continue to lie and cheat its customers.
GEMB also lost thousands of account records in Oct 2007, and never really notified its customers of this. So if you had a credit card with them,
Home Depot, Lowes, JC Penney, Belks, Dillards - the list goes on and on.
You may have been a victim of identity theft from this data loss.
They claim to have "found" the missing data 3 - 4 months later, and claimed it was not acccessed - however they prefer to think WE the customer are stupid.
There are a lot of people with the technological saavy to get in the records without being detected.
