HughesNet Hughes Net Deceptive Practices, Lies about Services and you don't get what they say you will get! Internet

I ordered this Internet and Satellite service based on facts that were provided to me via telephone and advertising.  I had to wait to get the service first of all...but went with it based on what I was told.  They told me I was to receive high-quality internet and Satellite services with no interruptions.  First of all, I had a very rude technician come into my home and I was afraid of him due to some uncanny remarks...so I stayed out of his way to avoid him.  He was scary!  Unfortunately, he must of been new or unqualified for the job as he put holes all over the side of my siding when he could have lined it up along the bottom of the siding and the top of the foundation...in order to avoiding putting holes and destroying my property.  Secondly, into the 2nd week of service...we no longer were able to watch TV or use the internet, so we called HughesNet customer service and they gave us a line of that we used up our time allowed for service...so we were supposed to sit without service for a few weeks until we had more time available.  I never heard of this before and could not believe what they said.  There was nothing we could do unless we wanted use it after 2 AM to 6 AM...then there may be more time available.  Duh...I never heard of such a thing and they thought that was great!  Who in the world runs internet/Satellite TV services like this?  They also told me that they have a 30 day guarantee and we could cancel anytime in the first 30 days.  Well we decided to cancel as it takes hours to get thru on the customer service line and then they transfer you over and over to another person and department to department....ending up with a disconnected telephone call.  They refuse to let you cancel also and argue with you and refuse to take "no" for an answer.  Finally, I had to get tough with them and say "listen, I do not want you service...please disconnect!"  Guess what?  They still argued.  Finally I get them to say okay, we will send you information to return the equipment and it never arrives.  Next day...phone call from HughesNet wanting me to stay with them and I say "no" and they won't give up.  I had to get rude with them and say "listen, I do not want you service...please no more phone calls" and I get another phone call wanting to know why I don't want there service.  They do NOT give up for anything.  Finally, a few weeks later we decide to call them cause they never gave us the address to return the equipment and they argue again and won't give out the information.  I looked on line to get an address and they don't provide any either.  This company is so hard up for business that they refuse to let anyone cancel.  NOW....I am getting more calls and they do not quit!  What to do about this harassment?  Isn't there a law to protect a consumer from companies like this when they lie about their services and then won't let you cancel under what they call a 30 day trial period?
