I am writing in support of the other people who have had the shared bad experience with this company. I have not gotten any returned calls. I have heard the same bogus claims of big sales prices and promises of quick sales. I so have had good support from my bank in crediting my account the monies that had been effectively stolen from me by this company. Thanks for the oppurtunity to warn others

Now you're saying you never received services?

AUTHOR: Jami - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 08, 2007

So now you are saying your advertisement was never created? You agreed to have your property MARKETED, the actual sale of the property all depends on you. Have you not read the terms and conditions stated in your contract? If not, I would strongly suggest doing so. Perhaps you should also log into your account via our website and see the activity on your property. If you would like, you can also contact us at any given time, and see what other options you may have (such as lowering your asking price, changing the pictures, adding your own insight of your property to your advertisement, etc.). Remember, you were never guaranteed a certain amount of time as to when the sale of your property would happen. That would be like asking us to predict the weather. If you contact our customer service and ask what can be done to speed things up for you, they will be more than happy to upgrade you to a featured property at no cost to you.

IBD Theft by deception

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, October 07, 2007

People often knowingly pay individuals for services. Your assertion that because I had originally knowingly paid for services and there fore it could not be theft does not hold up. IBD Marketing has misrepresented there services and still not provided the services that the assured the buyer they would. This often falls into several catergories of Theft. 1. Theft by deception or 2. or failure to provide services. For IBD to simply say that I knowingly paid for a service that was misrepresented and in effect never provided so it could not be theft is wrong. They continue to market themselves and continue to take a relatively small amount of money from a large number of people. Others that have prayed upon individuals hopes that the company they are dealing with is open, honest and sincere about the services they offer. IBD Marketing is a rip off and you will not here from them and they will not send you any customers to purchase your time share once they have your money.

wait, you say your money was STOLEN? In order to steal, we would have to take without you knowing!

AUTHOR: Jami - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, October 06, 2007

As an IBD employee, let me go ahead and go over our company policy with you folks. First of all, to all who feel that we "took" your money (after you agreed to pay the up-front marketing/advertising fee and provided us with the information to collect those funds) and never called you back since, we have thousands upon thousands of customers (customers meaning sellers/buyers) that we tend to. When you went through the verification process (third party recording where you were explained the terms of the contract AND agreed to them at that time BEFORE you were charged the fee) you were given our toll-free customer service # (877-267-2125) as well as hours of operation (M-F 10:00 a.m. EST - 5:00 p.m. EST). If you have lost it, please write it down and call us right away.

Yes, there is a chance all of our representatives may be on the phone satisfying other clients, however if you leave a message you will receive a call back from us within 24 hours. If I were in your shoes, I would feel more uncomfortable about a marketing company that called me all the time to bring me no news as opposed to one who used their time to continue to market my property, and wait til they had something I would want to hear. Also be advised, with your contract # and password, you can log onto our website and view the number of times your property has been inquired on. That also saves you the time and hassle of a phone call to find out something so simple. Believe it or not, some companies (such as IBD) actually DO want your experience hassle-free. IF we were a scam and had ANYTHING to hide, we also would not put our address out in the open for customers to come by and see us.

And yes, we have had many skeptical customers come through our doors to "see if we were there" and leave satisfied. The real scams/fly-by-nite companies DO NOT have an 800# for you to contact them at, as that would require listing a physical address. No, we are not perfect, we DO make mistakes, but also do our best to resolve those mistakes.
