I got my 1099 forms from the company, and they stated that i made over 10.000 last year. Well i sure didnt see any of that. And I looked up the defenition of INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR, and we did not provide our own materials, or get to choose our hours or where we worked, therefor we were treated as employees. The reason that the company claims us as independent contractors is so that they dont have to pay taxes for EMPLOYEES... The owner of the whole company, including the clearing house that they use for the magazines, name is Robert Spruiell. I have all the info and even his address and the address of the corporate office. This company if a fradulent one and I even know Brendas nephew, whom she often treated worse than the rest of the agents. If there is enough of us reporting to the IRS maybe theyll do something.
