On December 11 at approximately 12:30 p.m. I received a phone call from a gal who said she was calling from SHARP regarding my copier and toner cartridges going up in price. She would not state her name and told me that "our account rep" had set aside 1 toner cartridge at the old price of $529.00 because the price was going up to $589.00. I asked her if she was from WordClass Ink (whom I had just purchased 2 of these toner cartridges from last week) and she told me she was calling from "their" distribution center. I told her I really didn't know what she was talking about since I just ordered 2 and didn't need any. I asked her again...just who are you with again? She stated she was WorldClass Inks distribution center and it was Interstate Distribution Center .She again stated that our "account rep" (which we don't have one) wanted to take care of us and lock in the old price and that they would go ahead and ship it to us and as a favor our "account rep" would not invoice us for another 90 days. I told her I was really confused since we had just purchased 2 and have already paid it and received the invoice. I told her I didn't want anymore cartridges and she is not to ship anthing whatsoever.
She was trying to pass herself off as being the distribution center for WorldClass Ink and ABSOLUTELY HAS NO affililation with them whatsoever. I have notified WorldClass Ink of this matter so they can take the appropriate action against Interstate Distribution. AMAZING, I pulled our WorldClass Ink invoice and the AR202NT cartridges were only $75.00 ea. -$150.00 total for 2 of these cartridges and this company wanted to do me a favor and send me one at $529.00 for one! I pray that something will be done to this company for all those who were taken advantage of. Due to the suspicious activity of the phone call, I did a search on the web and found all this info on RipOff Report and was SHOCKED at what this company has been doing. Thank GOD I didn't get pulled in - only because I just ordered & received mine and it was fresh on my mind. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUFFERED FROM INTERSTATE DISTRIBUTION.
