Sellers and or buyers beware!!! This company is fraudulent. Mona Salem, owner, claims that she is a resident of South Carolina but in fact lives in Australia. She even has a fake number from South Carolina which is 336-917-9076. She comes off to be a very friendly person and seems to mean well. But in fact, is a complete scam artist.
I sold my boat to her for a good deal while I had other people looking to buy it locally. I had no reason to let her buy it other than I wanted to help her out because she told me her family has been saving for a boat like mine.
When my boat left my yard, it was clean and in good shape for a 2005 boat. I have many witnesses and pictures dated that prove what I am saying is true. She had the boat transported to South Florida to get a trailor built so that it could be legal in Australia. When I heard from her, she claimed the boat was dirty. I offered to pay to have it cleaned and she claimed it was going to cost 1500 dollars to have a 20 ft boat washed and detailed. At that point, I realized there was some kind of scam going on. I have had many boats and know you can have them steam cleaned for 400 dollars. Anyone with a boat knows that 1500 dollars to clean a boat is just outright ridiculous.
After weeks of harassing phone calls claiming that cushions were missing, lights were broken, batteries were not there, etc etc, I understood what was taking place. She threatened me and my family with retaliation. She went as far as saying that the American mafia is nothing compared to the Middle Eastern mafia from Dubai. After consulting my attorney, research has shown that she has done this to many Americans throughout the states.
DO NOT buy or sell anything to or from this woman or company. It is a SCAM! I went out of my way to cater to this woman in any way she needed even offered to buy the boat back. But she claimed that she couldn't allow me to do that because she all ready sold the boat. All she wanted was for me to give her money back. She is buying used boats and trying to sell them as new. If she buys your boat, just be ready for her to harass you for money back. If you do not agree, at that point she will start threatening you and/or your family.
I hope that this information will help any person in their future business dealings with this company or this woman. Although, I highly do not recommend doing ANY business with them.

I, Jamie Humphreys, did not make any formal apology to this woman or company. This last rebuttal statement she made in my name just proves even more that Mona Salem and her companies, JNS United and Metal King Customs, are a scam and very unprofessional. To go as far as writing a statement posing as me is absolutely absurd and proves what type of person she truly is. I have not and will not ever apologize for my report. It was not done in anger. It was done to protect other people from being taken advantage of by this woman.
I am personally having her company investigated. I feel there are a number of illegal things taking place that need to be accounted for. This woman should not be allowed to conduct business here in the US. Again warning I highly advise not doing business with this woman or company. I will be having this last rebuttal investigated as well to find out who impersonated me. I don't know how the other laws are in different countries, however, here in the United State it is a huge crime to impersonate someone.

I would like to take this opportunity to set the record straight, I have recieved a phone call from Mrs Salem's Attorney and have been advised that if I did not make a statement on this website, that the matter will be taken further and legal action will proceed.
I jamie Humpreys, do solemly swear that I acted out of anger and spite when I filed a report on JNS United, I sold them my boat and as there were some discrepencies, I didnt believe the boat to be in as bad of a condition as I was advised. But after reviewing all the pictures that were sent to me I can understand where Mona thought I was scamming her.
I wouls also like to state that I did offer to take a loan out and buy the boat back, but she insisted that we handle the matter accordingly and asked me to make it right.
In my advertisement on the boat, I only had 4 pictures that were 3 years old, but the rest were current. The hours I stated in the ad were told to me by Emerald Coast Marina when they changed the fuel lines on my motor. I did not bother to check and just took their word for it, I later found out By Mona that the hours were in fact 171.
As for the dirt on the boat, I did offer to pay for cleaning but honestly thought the quotes she was given were way too high.
I would also like to state that the quotes Mona received for the repairs and cleaning of the boat are in fact 100% true and accurate. Mona DID NOT make them up, the companies that quoted her were reputable and checked out.
I would like to say a fromal apology to Mona, and hope that this report will allow others to know that you are infact a good honest person, you run a legitimate business and I wish you all the best in your futute endeavours.
I hope that you will not proceed with any legal action relating to defamation of character, As I am truly SORRY for my dishonest words, written only out of anger not truthfulness.
