On 9-4-07 the trash company regularly schedules to pick up however because of labor day they delayed it till Wednesday the pick up. I took my trash down bagged and in my canisters Monday just in case. I went Thursday to retrieve my containers and noticed that they had not took my trash but they did take my neighbors. Well by the time I noticed Thursday it was too late they were closed.

Friday morning, 8 am I called mary Anne phillips the person in charge of the city trash service phone number 417-624-0820 ext 501 she wasnt available she called later and she promised me they would get my trash today Friday the 7th.

While waiting on her to return my call I called the trash company they said that I have to wait till next Tuesday. I asked for a partial credit on my account since they did not take my trash they said rudely no refund (marsha) (terry)

Meanwhile at 1230 maryanne phillips of the recycling center city of Joplin official returns my call
She says for sure they will take my trash today

149 pm the trash company calls me saying it will be later that day but they will get to my trash today
however at 2 pm the trash company closes so they knew when they called that they would not pick it up. Knowing they went home in 11 minute they lied to me (terry)or (larry) larry told me I can pour bleach on the trash to prevents the dogs from getting into it Terry when asked why they didnt pick my trash up, said was it raining? They must have not seen it because it was raining, and there werent any note saying I did anything wrong they must have just not seen it because they pick up hundred each day.

510 my trash is not picked up
I call marryanne again i say I have my bill paid why dont I have service she say having your bill paid up doesnt matter. There were no notes on the account saying I did anything wrong when she looked.
She tells me that I need to take the trash in my vehicle myself to the trash company. I have a 4 year old child and do not even drive I am disabled. And to take the trash would put my child in his car seat in the middles of 3 cans of trash covered in bleach enclosed ruining my carpet hurting my child, dirty diaper bleach and soured water. and im supposed to haul it myself? Thats insulting and hazardous to my child and my family! We all have asthma too. Its bad enough I have these piles of trash in my house where I cant escape if there were a fire. Bad enough the fumes of diapers seeping out but to tell me they will absolutely not refund any part of my money nor will they pick my trash up? Then the nerve to tell me to take this hazardous material with my child in my enclosed car to the trash company myself then she said hunny I got to go to 2 places before 6 for my weekend at the glades and hung up on me. Why was my money taken and the service not provided to me then told to do it myself?
Why was this not handled properly?
Its like paying for your dinner at a restaurant then going home to cook it yourself out of your own food!
isnt this stealing, fraud? Should people with disabilities be told to haul there hazardous bleach covered waste themselves instead of receiving the service they pay for to be provided?

They deliberately lied to me they knew at 11 minutes to the close of there shift that they would not be picking this up! AND THEY called to tell me they were!

Should I have to sit with my trash piled when I paid for a service that they did not provide that they wont refund any of?

Should I have to haul and jeopardize the safety and healthy of my family with this bleach soaked diaper filth? Is this acceptable? NO its not. Please take care of this problem, its shocking.

This is the third time Ive had this same trash service problem. It seems to be a ongoing thing with no consequences or concern to them. All I want is the service I pay for. Or I want my money refunded please, help me take care of this problem. This is only a 3 dollar problem to mariann in the city or the trash company but its a huge problem for someone with a baby and family.
