The Federal Government and State Attorneys General Reach $25 Billion Agreement with Five Largest Mortgage Services to Address Mortgage Loan Servicing and Foreclosure Abuses.

In 2007 I originally took out a primary mortgage with Washington Mutual .  On September 25, 2008, the banking operations of Washington Mutual, Inc - Washington Mutual Bank, Henderson, NV and Washington Mutual Bank, FSB, Park City, UT (Washington Mutual Bank) were sold in a transaction facilitated by the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

According to the agreement with FDIC, Subject to Sections 3.5, 3.6 and 4.8, the Assuming Bank hereby purchases from the Receiver, and the Receiver hereby sells, assigns, transfers, conveys, and delivers to the Assuming Bank, all right, title, and interest of the Receiver in and to all of the assets (real, personal and mixed, wherever located and however acquired. )

I have a mortgage that is With Chase Bank, my loan number is  __________. I called Chase bank regarding the settlement agreement with the five major banks. Today I talked with supervisor Jason, he did not give me his last name. He informed me that Chase bank only services my mortgage that my mortgage is own by Citi bank, base on that
information according to Jason, Chase Bank says I don't qualify for the agreement with the five major banks.

I simply pointed out the fact that both Banks are on the list with the agreement, after a long conversation he finally
admitted that I qualify but that he couldn't promise that they would refinance my loan or do anything with my loan.

You see I believe that my house  qualifies for this agreement for the following reasons.
1. My Loan is not with Freddie or Fannie May

2. My house is under water

3. My interest rate is 8.5 4, My loan is a ARM every six month base on the liber index,

4.That I have not been late with in the last 12 months,

I am making a complaint against Chase Bank and Citibank regarding the above .

Moreover, I have only gotten the run around from both Chase and Citibank.  I don't care who owns the mortgage as they are both on the agreement list with both banks.  And They acquired the assets from the fail bank Washington Mutual.

Now either one of them want to take responsibility. I will be making the same complaint with the Bank regulator as well as Senator Levin, for not following the agreement. Also I would like to point out to you that the agreement with the banks

According the United States Attorney General the Banks can be fine more money for failing to follow the agreements.
I would appreciate any assistance you can provide to me.

Sincerely Yours Tamara
