K-9 Pines Melisa Smith Puppy Mill LIar Con Artist Not Pure Breds Saluda North Carolina

I am writing in regards to K-9 Pines /Melisa Smith. I've spoken with the AKC in North Carolina, they stated there is an ongoing inquiry involving K-9 Pines and the matter should be resolved in a few weeks, and that I should get the papers for the dog I purchased soon after. They also stated Ms. Smith is cooperating with them to get the matter resolved. Upon answering some questions the AKC presented to me I stated I have NO complaints about my dog she is a well behaved, well tempered, very intelligent German Shepherd. Once again the complaint was never about the dog it was about not receiving her AKC registration papers.

If Ms.Smith would put aside the chip on the shoulder attitude she has, none of this would have taken place, the fact there was an inquiry going on never came up, had that been said I would have worked with her, the only thing I was told was she had to send DNA of the father in and then I was told she was waiting for an inspection from the AKC. A bit confusing hearing two different things.

I would never do business with this woman again as her attitude is beyond arrogant to the point she makes herself look silly. I will say the dog I personally have is perfect and I couldnt ask for better.

 When Christine Meinhold McCort of 1283 Flat Top rd Loris SC 29569 arrived to pick up her puppy early December she was told that getting paperwork would take time.  Her exact words were it does not even matter if I get papers because I am buying this puppy for me as my pet and she will be spayed.  She then added "I just want a pure blooded German Shepherd."  She loved how big and healthy she was and even commented that she smelled so good. 

Christine signed a contract that says Registration papers will be mailed as soon as they arrive to the person above.  Christine has been kept informed as to the status of the Registration papers and just as the contract states will get the registration papers when they arrive from AKC. 

I have worked with German Shepherds for 20 years and would have dozens of complaints from people not recieving paperwork over the years if Christines report were true.  You can go to my webstie and read my guest book for real reviews, over 150 at this point from very satisfied puppy purchasers that have papers and yes even some that had to wait.  $500 for a pet quality/limited Fawn colored German Shepherd puppy from us is standard pet price for 2012.  Paper work does not make a spayed/pet quality/non-breeding German Shepherd more valuable. 

Filling a report here and slandering my name for ANIMAL ABUSE AND BEING A PUPPY MILL is nothing but a temper tantrum from a someone that expects to stomp her feet, threaten to take to court (she knows she signed a contract and I have it for anyone to view), in which the contract will stand and get me to make things move faster and that is not how life works.   I am not addressing any of her other outlandish comments as she knows...

The puppy she got from me is a great puppy and there is NOTHING wrong with the puppy.  I have always addressed her with respect and have answered every email she has sent inquiring.  When I told her to contact AKC to verify the status she didn't.  When I wrote her again and gave her the number to AKC and reiterated for her to call AKC, she came here instead.   This ripoff report place site is here because they want me to pay money to them to 'clear' my reputation.    Reality is when Christine gets her paperwork she will NOT come back here and say she got her paperwork.  Just as any other unhappy consumer that fills false reports do, they never come back and say things were resolved. 

Ripoff report calls this site free speech.  I call it free to be able to slander and help publish inaccurate information.  They do not ask for proof to verify what is being told as true.  That in itself should be a red flag to anyone reading a report here.  Then when my rebuttal is posted you have to scroll through ads to find it at the bottom.  I wish Christine and Brandy the puppy she doesn't dare say how great is or how nice she was when she picked her up or how wonderful of a dog she is growing into but instead feels the need to be impatient and post lies here, a nice life and I can only pray Brandy is being taken care of,  I am happy to see she is at least spaying her as agreed upon. 

I will come back here once her paperwork has been sent certified mail and post that her paperwork has been sent.  I am confident she will not do the same.  Sad how some people in society this day and time can still not see the bigger picture of life and see that patience is a virtue and believing the truth (that can be verified by the 3rd party AKC) from someone who has zero intentions of NOT providing paperwork for the puppies I produce.    Melisa Smith owner of K9-Pines
