*REBUTTAL Individual responds: The facts
Lonnie Lauer has moved onto a different line of work. He is now one the successful "entreprenuers" of Prinion Financial Systems. He's hawking a Windows based system for small and mid sized business to finance their operations. Watch out! He ripped off many people in Robele Career Systems (bankrupt) and others looking for work in his "career networking" scam. He's a liar. He's a cheat. I'm sure Hell awaits him one day.

How dare you call yourself a victim!

It seems that you missed a few people in your calls. No one called me. I found out when I called to follow up on a matter that the company ceased to exist. You left me and others high and dry.
You are a very successful businessman and use your skills of persuasion very well. You couldn't wait to swipe my credit card for thousands of dollars.
Why do people consider you a rip off? Well, first you spoke of working with many companies and networking. I, like others, never got an interview. For a "personal marketing campaign", there were problems with your product. You basically ran off form letters. There were wrong addresses. I found on more than one occasion incorrect grammar and spelling in letters. One resume version was so creative that a potential employer thought that I was a CFO at a major company. When challenged about what I was getting for my money, "the team is very concerned we haven't yet placed you" was the response.
How dare you say you are a victim when you mislead people and took some of their last savings. You're a great salesman and also a great scam artist. How about returning 1/2 of what people paid you? I still believe there is a special place in hell if you cannot make amends to the people you ripped off. How dare you say you're a victim. How fast did you find a job after Robele closed? How much money did you have in reserve while you looked for another job?
It shouldn't be hard to make amends when you have a vacation condo in Diamond Beach, NJ that you rent for $600 to $1,000 per week. Get real. You weren't a victim.

The facts

I have been a successful businessman in the state of
Here are the facts:
Ten-plus years ago, I was hired by the owner of a career marketing firm to open and manage a NJ office for them. I did that successfully for 6 years, about 80-90 clients per year, without a single complaint from any of our clients. One day, the owner got deathly ill, and was rushed to the hospital in intensive care, where he eventually died. When this happened, his wife closed the business under bankruptcy protection. I found out that evening, after the lawyers had filed, when the wife called me to tell me what happened to her husband. She told me to take my personal things from the office and leave the key.
I went into the office the next day, and called the 45 or so clients that were in the midst of their campaigns. I gave them all the information I had. Practically all of them thanked me for the call, and wished me luck. Unfortunately, two of them accused me of ripping them off, even though I tried to explain that I was as much a victim as they were. That I was not an owner, or officer, or shareholder. Just an employee. I just lost my job. I didn't get my last paycheck. (That can be verified that by checking with the
So what you read is from an angry person whose only complaint was that we went out of business. And they blamed me for a guy getting sick and dying. In fact, some of the other stuff that was written was pretty bizarre ---- like claiming that the owner who got sick and died, actually started up a new business ---- while he was in the hospital!
But thats the Internet. Anybody can write anything they want, without substantiation or accountability.
