I almost got scam and I am so mad at myself for it.

I get a text saying Hi Seller what is the final price for your BlackBerry Curve 8530 - $50

So I said $45 and she says “Sounds good am willing to make it $80 but I want it shipped to my pastor's son and am going to pay $120 for the shipping fee”.  And then she text me “Ok get back to me with your PayPal email so I can transfer the money now”. I was on the road and honestly I didn’t remember my PayPal email and I told her so and she text me “Ok no prblem just keep me posted”.  I was out for a couple of hours and in the meantime she text saying “Hello am waiting”. I finally text my PayPal email but was a little bit worry so I goggle pay pay security measures and felt comfortable with what was reported. In the morning I wake up and see the following text “Hello friend I just got an alert from PayPal saying that the payment has been made and my account has been deducted with the total sum of $200 USD so check your mail box if they have send you a CONFIRMATION email...

Here is the shipping address...Name: David Chris... Address: 22 Oduselu Street Itire City:Surulere State:Lagos Country:Nigeria Zip Code:23401. I check my email and I had a couple of emails from PayPal confirming the deposit and all the information on shipping.  It told me that for security for both of us I needed to ship out the phone and send the tracking number to <pay_pal_customer_cared@secureroot.com> and once they confirmed the package they would release my funds.

I than log in to PayPal and the money was there ($200). So of course me thinking everything was legit I started packing the phone and was getting ready to bring to the post office (did not feel right about it) when I get a text saying “Hello” So I texted back and told her I was just getting ready to go to the post office ( I am so glad I didn’t). And she said “Ok so what time will you be heading to the post office?” I said in an hour and she texted “ok what shipping post will you use to send the item? Then I texted her if she knew that the phone was a Verizon carrier only?  And she asked me if the phone had a sims card? I said no and if that would be a problem and she said yes.  She than asked if I had another phone.  I said no but I could find out if my daughter had one since she just replaced with new one and I would get back to her. She texted me “ok am waiting just have to be fast about it.” That’s when I realized that it truly was a scam, so I told her the phone was sold and that I was sorry we couldn’t do business and good luck. so she text me, ok what do you have with you that yo4 can sell? She sent me the same message three times and all three times I told her I didn’t have anything and that I did not want to do business because I knew this was a scam. She still didn’t give up she texted me “well you can go ahead and ship the phone.” And I ignore her and she texted me “ship the phone like that I will manage it”. I than texted her to leave me alone and to take her money and go away, so she texted me “do you want me to report you?” I said go ahead I have no time for this. And she texted me I WILL REPORT YOU TO THE FBI. At this I laughed and just ignore her and a few hours later she texts me “The FBI just contacted me now saying that all your details is now on their database”. I texted back “Good I am glad you reported me, now go away! I have not heard anything anymore, in the meantime I went to PayPal and the money disappears and I have not seen any email from PayPal saying that the transaction was cancelled.  It’s like nothing was ever deposited. I'm lucky smelled a scam from the beginning before I really got scam.
