MJR COllections Harrassment ; illegal activities against collection laws, Internet

i have a debt with amex that i spoke with them about over 2 years ago. the debt was purchased by mjr collectionsas the original company sold the debt.

i get phone calls from private numbers 6-7 times a day. the first call i got i told them i was unable to pay and went into details of my discussion with amex who told me they had written off the account . mjr collections calls all times of the day . last two weeks i got a letter from them stating they had filed a judgement against me and they were seeking 30% interest from last payment. they included a copy of the last bill from amex. debt is 2000.00. as i am not indebted to these vultures i am not about to speak with any of them as my debt is with amex who wrote the debt off.

i found out that the document sent to me wasnot a real legaldocument even though it had a seal

today i got a phone call at work 2x this man purporting to be a lawyer for mjr . i said if you are a lawyer then you know it is illegal to contact me at work without my permission. i hung up he called again to let me know he has started legal proceedings to have my wages garnished as he spoke with hr.

how do i get these people off my back.. i never answer private numbers . the phone calls are harrassing and now to put the icing on the cake they have contacted me at work.
