M&N General Contractors MN General Contractors, Neri Vides Horrible work, left incomplete, took the money and ran! Manassas, Virginia

Neri Vides, the owner of this contracting company, seemed very professional as he gave me an estimate for work to be done inside my newly purchased home.  His work was to include interior painting, installing new kitchen cabinets, new tile for the kitchen, new carpet for the basement, and some minor drywall installation.

Once he began work, the nightmare began,  He took 3 times longer than originally promised, continued to cancel, show up late and make excuses.  Even though we signed an agreement in which I paid half up front and half at the end, he asked for half of his end payment one week into the project, claiming that money from his wallet was stolen.

The paint job looks average, the cabinets, tile & new carpet look great but it took much prodding to get this done.  He moved a dishwasher and interior door outside while working and left it outside overnight, during the rain.  The door will not fit and the dishwasher will not last long due to water damage.  He also damged our basement closet door as he used a sprayer to paint the newly installed drywall.

Many miscellaneous items (door stoppers, closet door handles, light covers, etc.) were also thrown outside and eventually thrown away.  He and his company advertise on Craigslist.  I highly advised anyone to stay away from this man.  I found him to be dishonest, slow, and highly incompetent.
