Mad Dog Multimedia - RebatesHQ - OfficeMax Ripoff, Rebate fraud Miami Florida

I submitted a rebate request for $25 on January 28, 2005. I jumped through all the hoops, registered the product with Mad Dog Multimedia, photocopied everything. RebatesHQ sent me an e-mail saying everything was fine and the rebate was being processed.

Then they sent another e-mail saying the rebate was invalidated by Mad Dog Multimedia and I had to re-submit everything. I did, and had the Post Office date stamp the re-submission as proof that I did it before the expiration time. Then RebatesHQ said my rebate was invalidated because I had not registered the product with Mad Dog and had not provided the 'code', which was clearly written on the original rebate form submitted in January.

I e-mailed RebatesHQ twice with the 'code' from Mad Dog Multimedia. They responded by saying the rebate is in the final stages of approval, but only after I threatened to contact the California State Distict Attorney's office to report the rebate fraud of OfficeMax, Mad Dog Multimedia and RebatesHQ.

Bottom line: RabatesHQ is a joke and they will deprive you of your rebate for as long as possible. Mad Dog Multimedia and OfficeMax are not to be trusted, they don't want to honor their rebate obligation and will hold on to your money as long as possible.
