Meadwestvaco is trying to get employees to take an early lump sum buyout on company pension. They are offering some employees .74 cents on the dollar and others (if the amount is higher) only .50 cents. Be very careful when dealing with such shark tactics and consult and adviser or attorney. Very disappointing such a large company would deploy such questionable behavior and attempt to take advantage of former employees.
